The German vehicle easily competes with well-known manufacturers such as Ferrari and McLaren in terms of visual drama and audio effect, giving it a reason to claim the title of a true supercar.
The R8 Spyder has all of the hardtop car’s athletic capabilities but does away with the top, allowing the excellent V10’s 602 horsepower—in Quattro form—to be heard clearly. In the RWD version, maintaining pressure will cause the needle to quickly approach a peak speed of 204 mph or 203 mph.
Gas mileage will never be exceptional when a normally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine is beneath your right foot. You don’t deserve an R8 Spyder if this has any bearing on your choice to purchase one.
