The moonroof and complete LED external lighting, which includes dynamic turn signals for the rear clusters, are also standard on all Audi A3 variants. Strangely, Audi decided to cover the A3’s tailpipes.
Except for the expensive $3,900 Audi-exclusive particular paint option, the A3 comes in nine colors. The two free possibilities are Brilliant Black and Ibis White, but sadly, neither shade does the design any favors. Atoll Blue, Florett Silver, Glacier White, Manhattan Gray, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, and Tango Red are metallic possibilities with a $595 suggested retail price. Atoll Blue or Tango Red would be our choices for the exterior color, along with the optional 18-inch wheels with black inserts. Although it is an expensive option on what is meant to be the most expensive Audi, it is priceless in terms of style.
Interior
The Audi A3’s forthcoming 2024 model year will have a completely redesigned interior and a ton of new amenities. This might change everything for Audi. Using high-end materials like leather and wood accents will give the interiors a reasonable level of luxury, and other contemporary elements are anticipated. Engine
The 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four in the A3 produces less power than the previous generation, but it does so differently. According to Audi, the engine’s 201 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque are increased by a 48-volt mild hybrid system. With 12 horsepower and 37 lb-ft of torque, the MHEV system makes the A3 feel less sluggish off the line. A turbocharged engine often experiences turbo lag, but the mild-hybrid system uses torque filling to try and eliminate that unpleasant lag sensation. In essence, the turbocharger spools up while the electricity performs labor-intensive tasks.
Because the DCT changes smoothly and without interruption during regular operation, most buyers might not be aware that they are operating a particular transmission. The twin clutches may shift gears faster than most traditional transmissions while driving more sportily. The fantastic seven-speed dual-clutch message from Audi, which is still one of our favorites, is used to transmit power to the wheels.
2024 Audi A3 Price and Release Date
The Audi A3 has a starting price of $33,900 for the Premium model. The Premium Plus has an MSRP of $37,200. The asking price for a top-spec Prestige is a relatively expensive $41,200. The Quattro raises the cost by $2,000, though. The $1,045 destination fee is not included in these costs.
